Victor Harbor Renewable Energy Program
In November 2009, the Brief on South Australia's Power Industry was submitted to the Victor Harbor Council.
This together with a 2002 paper on "Solarisation" written by Professor Andrew Blakers (Australian National University) encouraged the Council to support a program enabling city ratepayers access to affordable solar panels ($1,995*1.5kWh system) to fit to their roofs. It proved very popular.
